the "Self-esteem Team" Contrary to popular belief, stress itself is never a good thing--it is always harmful. This course will show you the difference between pressure, which spurs you into action and helps you to perform at your peak, and stress, which impedes your performance, and may have long-term health implications. Additionaly, you will learn many techniques for dealing with stress in different situations. Stress is produced by your own feelings and reactions to certain external events, rather than by the events themselves. This means that once you recognize how you respond to certain situations, you can change your response to one that is more helpful and productive. Course length: approximately 4 hours.
Our self-esteem develops and evolves throughout our lives as we build an image of ourselves through our experiences with different people and activities. Your self-esteem greatly effects ALL parts of your life. In this course, you will learn self-esteem basic, how to get to know your self, barriers to self-esteem, how it effects all of your relationships, acceptance, and how to build self-esteem. Course length: approximately 5 hours.
